When did you start CrossFit?

  • I am pretty sure I started in late March 2017.

When did you realize you needed to dial in nutrition?

  • Jeremy told me day one that nutrition is extremely important. When I started Crossfit, I ate Paleo per Jeremy's suggestion.

How difficult was it to stick with it?

  • Paleo was more difficult than Keto, but really helped me detox most cravings from my life and incorporate more vegetables into my life. I also started meal prepping, which is a lifesaver.

What made you stay with Keto?

  • Keto is easy. Especially after eating Paleo. It helped me break my plateau that I hit around the year mark. MyFitnessPal has really helped me track my macros and is convenient.

What has been most rewarding in this diet and CrossFit?

  • The confidence. I am more comfortable in my own skin and overall happier.

Has this diet made your workouts more manageable?

  • Its a lot easier to do a burpee when you weigh 40 less pounds πŸ˜‚πŸ˜…

In addition to workouts, what additional benefits have you noticed?

  • I am more energized, happier, and healthier.

What is you plan once you get to your goal weight/body fat %?

  • I plan to stay Keto when I hit my goal weight, but might allow myself more carbs in a day. Overall, I don’t have too much of a problem sticking with it.

My advice?

  • Stick with it. It's not going to be fast or easy, but you'll be happy you started.
